Tim and Laura Neufeld
Tim and Laura both grew up cross-culturally, Tim in Latin America and Laura in Kathmandu, Nepal. Their lives first intersected when they attended Prairie High School in Three Hills, Alberta. In the years following, Laura earned degrees in Arts and Education, going on to teach high school English. Tim spent years working in Alberta’s energy sector and attending Mount Royal College in Calgary where he studied broadcasting. While in Calgary, Tim felt a clear call to mission aviation and decided to attend Prairie School of Mission Aviation to earn his commercial pilot license. During this time Tim and Laura got back in contact, began a relationship, and were married in December 2009.Tim and Laura knew from early in their relationship that finding a way to become active in God’s Kingdom in a global sense was important to both of them, and since the beginning of their marriage have been working towards fulfilling this mandate. They have been living and working in northern Alberta for four years. Tim has been working for an air operator offering medevac and charter services, and Laura remains involved in education while staying home with their beautiful daughter, Hannah.
